David McWhinnie received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Loyola University School of Dentistry. Prior to that he attended DePaul University and graduated magna cum laude in biology and chemistry. Dr. McWhinnie also completed graduate work in microbiology at the University of Illinois Medical Center, a mini-residency in restoration of implants as well as five years of continuing education training in basic orthodontics.
Dr.McWhinnie has been a member of the Evanston Association of Dentists, Conley Study Club, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society and the American Dental Association. He believes in continuing education and constantly takes courses to update his skills and knowledge. Recently McWhinnie was named one of the top dentists in the "Chicago Consumers' Checkbook" (www.checkbook.org). He is married with three children, an avid cyclist and a powered-paraglide pilot. |

| Heidi is our wonderful, professional, gentle, caring and efficient hygienist. She has worked for Smiles of Skokie for (how many years?). Heidi attended Luther North High School and Illinois State University, and took her hygiene training locally as well. She has worked as a microbiologist for Abbott Laboratories, worked with special needs patients in dentistry as well as done volunteer community services for the elderly. |

| Lorraine is our receptionist and business manager. She is friendly and competent, with a vast dental experience for her young age. Her family is in the dental business and her father is a dentist. She serves all of us at Smiles of Skokie in a capable and professional manner. |

| Mariya is our clinical coordinator and a certified dental cleaning professional. She comes from Russia and has a number of years of clinical experience. Mariya also teaches dental assisting on a part time basis. She is capable, caring and wonderful member of our team. |
